As part of the III BASC Executive Directors Meeting, leaders from the World BASC Organization (WBO) and representatives from BASC chapters visited the State of Jalisco’s Coordination, Command, Control, Communications, and Computing Center (C5) to learn about its operational model and explore opportunities for technical cooperation.
The delegation was received by C5 representatives and its Director General, Juan Carlos Contreras, who presented the center’s technological capabilities in surveillance, risk analysis, and incident response. This visit underscored the relationships and collaboration BASC fosters and maintains with authorities and local governments in Mexico to promote more secure environments.
World BASC Organization thanks Juan Carlos Contreras, Director General of the C5 Urban Shield Jalisco, and his entire team for their warm welcome and for highlighting their efforts and commitment to public safety in the region. WBO values this opportunity for institutional dialogue and recognizes C5 Jalisco’s dedication to protecting critical infrastructure and strengthening security in the state.
