The III BASC Executive Directors Meeting in Guadalajara concluded its third day of meetings with a visit to the facilities of Casa Sauza in Tequila, Jalisco. The delegation from the World BASC Organization (WBO) and executive directors from member chapters had the opportunity to explore the processes, standards, and business culture of Casa Sauza, one of the most iconic companies in the Mexican tequila industry. With over 14 years as a BASC-certified company, Casa Sauza has demonstrated a strong commitment to security, compliance, and continuous improvement in its supply chain.
During the visit, the BASC leadership group, accompanied by company representatives, toured the organization, its facilities, and the tequila production processes. Throughout the tour, Casa Sauza’s commitment to supply chain security, export traceability, and the promotion of a culture of ethics and compliance was highlighted. This visit strengthened the connection between BASC and Mexico’s agro-industrial sector, showcasing the value BASC brings to exporting companies.
